Our newly opened restaurant in Brickell is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity, Restaurant Manager. We are looking for a qualified candidate who thrives in luxury hospitality environments, and prides themselves on providing superior service. The Restaurant Manager will oversee all operations at a restaurant, and shape a guests’ experience, hire and train staff, and ensure a consistent elevated customer service. Attention to detail is key in this role.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and conduct pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
• Ensure that the restaurant and restaurant facilities are kept clean, well-stocked and organized.
Maintain all equipment in the restaurant and schedule needed maintenance and repairs in a timely fashion.
• Circulate throughout the restaurant facilities and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
• Greet guests at tables to ensure complete customer satisfaction attention to guest needs.
• Ensure established cash handling procedures are utilized to accurately charge customers.
• Creates revenue forecasts and reports. Monitors restaurant budget.
• Oversees daily restaurant activities to include: serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, room service and general clerical/cashier duties.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. • Manages department members that may include, but is not limited to: Food and Beverage Supervisor, Host, Server, Bartender and Bussers.
• Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs and tests for comprehension.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years of management experience in a high-volume, service-driven restaurant
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Experience hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse hourly FOH staff
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change
• A positive and self-motivated disposition with a commitment to excellence and team success
• A love for Italian cuisine, wines & culture
